ABOUT THE CLASS
Vinyasa is a style of yoga which connects a series of yoga postures together - one posture flowing into the next. We also flow with the breath, to really connect to the present moment, and yourself. Classes are fairly dynamic, so you'll feel like you've had a workout, but all postures are modified for beginners and those who want a more gentle flow - I give options throughout the class, and demonstrate so you can follow along.

We will flow through yoga postures that strengthen and tone, whilst connecting with the breath and calming the mind and the nervous system. We work many muscles throughout the class lengthening and strengthening them, as well as postures to twist the body and release stagnant energy, detoxify, and get everything flowing.

A regular yoga practice can completely change your state of being - bringing more peace and clarity to life - which you are so worthy of.
​​
Suitable for all levels, including beginners and advanced - no previous experience required. There is no judgement and no expectations!

ABOUT THE CLASS
Being a mother to a small baby can sometimes be hard, and I hope these yoga classes can help with that by providing a supportive and nurturing space to move, breathe and connect.
​​​
My Postnatal Yoga classes were designed to enable you, the mum, to practice Yoga and Pilates without having to leave your baby.
​​​​
You will benefit from a calming yoga flow to stretch and soothe your body, and begin gaining back strength and tone of the body and pelvic floor, with Pilates movements added into the flow.
​​​​
These classes will also work on creating a calmer mindset outside of yoga classes, so you can be more positive and peaceful whilst raising a baby in your daily life. This will not only benefit you but your baby too!

We will be mindful to stay connected with baby during the practice. Don’t worry about what your baby will be like, it’s all ok!
​​
There are different toys at the class all suitable for babies to help keep them entertained.
​​​​
I am trained in Breastfeeding Peer Support so I can answer any questions you may have if you are breastfeeding, and you are welcome to breastfeed as you need throughout the class.

No previous Yoga/Pilates experience necessary. There is no judgement and no expectations.
​​​
*Please note this is not a baby yoga class. It's a time for you, the mum, to practice yoga and restore post-birth, without having to leave your baby.

INFORMATION​​​
Recommended for mums at least 6 weeks postpartum, or 10 weeks if you had a c-section - with no major complications in either case.
Recommended for babies up to crawling age or around 1 year old - if your baby is crawling but you can manage them during class without it affecting your/others experience then this is fine!
Please bring something comfy for baby to lay on at the top of the mat (such as snuggly blankets) and anything you think they may need.
Relax! I aim to make the classes as relaxed as possible so don't worry if you need to get baby to sleep, or if your baby needs to be cuddled, changed or fed, we can work around any scenarios that may happen.

PREGNANCY YOGA

ABOUT THE CLASS
A yoga class for pregnant women.
​
We will flow through yoga postures that build strength, open the hips/pelvis, and release any pregnancy tension - all in preparation for labour. We'll also work on postural alignment, toning pelvic floor muscles and calming the mind.
​
Pregnancy yoga can be good preparation for a more positive birth experience. As you learn to connect with the breath whilst we flow through yoga postures, you can then take this tool with you during labour. And creating a calmer mindset through yoga will help mentally prepare for baby’s arrival, and create a deeper connection to your baby when they do arrive.

General guidelines say pregnancy yoga should commence from the second trimester (around 12 weeks), however if you are experienced in yoga or similar fitness activities you can choose to come earlier than 12 weeks. Please be mindful of your own body.

Booked classes can be transferred to another date up to 2 hours before the class starts.
